WOW

Wow, that’s all I can say. There are points in everyone’s life where they can reflect and say, “my life has been altered drastically because of… fill in the blank….” My blank is Kevin Walker. While the first part of the week was very relaxing, and great; the second part of the week we got down to the hard stuff that everyone involved in ministry goes through. “The refining fire” as Ed Rowell put it. The biggest issue that Kevin and Ed helped me realize is that God has put me in a position to pastor people through art. I am no longer a performer with a skill to fill a need. Father took me away from voices that were familiar to me, some saying the exact same thing, and used Kevin to speak truth to me. How sweet. How refreshing. How exciting it will be to return. Tomorrow, we will board a plane and return to life with a new and refreshing outlook on life. Thank you for all your prayers!

  1. I’m glad that time was so special for you, Christian. I am writing to request some songs for church service…I love praising God through music and really love songs with incredible content. “Jesus Paid it All,” “Psalm 119,” “In Christ Alone,” The Story,” “Wonderful, Merciful Savior,” and “Hungry” are some songs I would love to sing at church. Thank you for letting God’s Life flow from you and sharing your artful worship with the Body.

    In Christ~
